The Grande Lakes Resort amenities are accessible to guests of both the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes and The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes.

Pools and Lazy River
The Grande Lakes Waterpark and pools area are shared by the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes and The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes resorts.
1. Pools
- JW Marriott Resort Pool – Essentially one large pool divided into separate “coves” that are all connected by the lazy river. Each cove has poolside loungers. There is one pool area that is only accessible for guests with reserved seating.
- Ritz-Carlton Resort Pool – standard resort pool with poolside loungers
- Splash Cove – kids pool with the AquaVenture aquatic obstacle course
- Hot Tubs – two hot tubs at the JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes
2. Lazy River
The heated lazy river is 1/4 mile long with lush scenery, cascading waterfalls, and bridges to float under. It connects the pools and cove areas of the large resort pool. It is separate from the hot tubs, water obstacle course, and water slides.
3. Beach Area
There is not a sandy beach area at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes resort. One of the “cove” pool areas has zero-grade entry and shallow water that is great for kids. It also connects into the lazy river. There is a playground surrounded by sand near the zero-grade entry pool, but not a true beach area.
4. Slides
There are 3 heated water slides at the Grande Lakes waterpark:
- The Current – Single rider with moderate speed. Minimum height 40″
- The Rapids – Single or Tandem riders with tubes with medium speed. Mimimum height 42″
- The Chute – Single riders with the fastest speed. Minimum height 48″
5. Lounge Area
There are poolside loungers or JW Marriott Cabanas and daybeds available for rent. There is a pool that is reserved just for guests with priority seating.
6. Food/Drinks
Poolside food and drink service is available from Knife Burger, created by Chef John Tesar who is a Michelin Star recipient. The mahi mahi sandwich was tasty and the frozen mojito is $19 but delicious!

There is a childcare program at The Ritz-Carlton resort on the Grande Lakes property. There are several family-friendly events scheduled at the resort. There is a PlayVenture area with a playground, lawn games, and a game room for families to enjoy as well, parent supervision is required.
Golf
Guests at JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes have access to The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, which features a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary golf course with 18-holes on the Championship golf course that also serves as a PGA Tour Challenge event site. There is also an upscale club and golf lessons available.

Dine on fresh-made Italian food with organic produce that pairs nicely with a well-curated wine list. Michelin-recommended chef Melissa Kelly leads the team at this impressive restaurant with a relaxed, coastal vibe. You can explore the gardens used to grow the fresh herbs and produce just outside!
2. Whisper Creek: The Kitchen
American, Casual, Open for Dinner daily
Farm-to-table American classics like sandwiches, salads, and small plates that pair well with an impressive selection of craft beers. We enjoyed the birria flatbread, fish tacos, and spicy banh mi sandwich the best – and of course, the draft beer!
3. EvrBar
Lobby Lounge, Casual, Open 4 pm – 12 am daily
Small plates, craft cocktails, beers, and wine with waterfall sounds and lake views.
4. Knife Bar
Pool Bar and Grill, Casual, Open 11 am – 5:30 pm daily
Michelin chef John Tesar’s team is serving up elevated poolside eats and treats. The mahi mahi sandwich was delicious and the nachos were pretty good. Don’t forget about the frozen cocktails – the frozen mojito was my favorite! You can also order several beers in an iced bucket to take back to your lounge chair.
5. Citron

6. Cafe Bodega

Accommodations
1. Rooms
Hotel rooms at JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes have the option of 1 King or 2 Queen beds and either a resort or lake view. The bathroom has a separate tub and shower.
Suites include more space, a sitting area, and a sleeper sofa. There are also family suites available that have 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a king bed along with 2 twin bunk beds, and a sleeper sofa.
2. Amenities
Amenities in the rooms include an in-room coffee/tea maker, instant hot water, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, wifi, and air-conditioning. Video games like Nintendo are available for an additional fee.
3. Pets
Pets are welcome at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes Resort. There is a pet fee of $250/stay and a limit of 2 dogs or cats per room with a maximum weight of 40lbs.
