The Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center is located in Kissimmee, Florida in the greater Orlando area. The resort is located 17 miles from the Orlando airport and just 5 miles from Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom theme park. There is a complimentary shuttle to any of the Disney World parks and Disney Springs from the Gaylord Palms Resort.

Pools and Lazy River
Cypress Springs Water Park is full of family-friendly aquatic entertainment that was recently renovated with multiple pools, water slides, lazy river, and a splash fort. It is heated and open year round!
1. Pools
- Zero-Entry Pool – Family-friendly resort pool with graded entry
- South Beach Pool – calmer, surrounded by palm trees, cabanas, and lounge chairs
- TreeHouse Water Playground – 3-story tall water playground with fountains, slides, and a giant tipping bucket up top
2. Lazy River
Crystal River Rapids is the lazy river at Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center. There are cascading waterfalls, fountains, and a nice current in this heated lazy river that is open all year. There are poolside loungers around the lazy river and convenient access to poolside dining.
3. Beach Area
There is not a sandy beach area, there is a graded entry pool.
4. Slides
- Florida Free Fall Drop Slide – 35′ drop through a trap door, ends with spiraling around a giant funnel shape. Max 300lbs, Min 48″ tall.
- 2 Racing Slides – Tampa Slide and Miami slide that race to the bottom
- 4 Family-friendly Slides – part of the TreeHouse Water Playground
5. Lounge Area
There are poolside loungers around the pool areas. Premium poolside loungers and cabanas are available for rent as well.
6. Food/Drinks
Poolside food and drink is available from Sand Bar, open for lunch daily with classic American cuisine and cocktails.
Child Care
There is not a dedicated childcare program at Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center.
Golf
There is not a golf resort on the Gaylord Palms and Convention Center property but there are several great options for world-class golf in Orlando.

Accommodations
1. Rooms
Guest rooms have either 1 King or 2 Queen beds. Rooms may be with out without a balcony and have a view of Florida, the water park, or an Atrium. We find the atrium rooms to have a bit of an echo and actually prefer the rooms facing the outside, although it is nice entertainment watching the happenings inside the an atrium.
Suites are available with a King bed and sleeper sofa as well.

3. Pets
Pets are not permitted at Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center.
