Oklahoma is known for many things – the musical, the understated beauty, the wind, and (of course) the casinos! My husband and I love places with over-the-top amenities but only one of us likes to gamble. The Casino Resorts that made our list do have great gaming but also have a little something extra (think: pools, spas, concert venues) that makes it worth the trip!

Top 8 Best Casino Resorts in Oklahoma
1. WinStar World Casino and Resort – Thackerville, Oklahoma
The WinStar World Casino and Resort is located in Thackerville, OK in the South Central region of the state, close to the Texas border. As the name suggests, the WinStar World Casino is actually the largest casino in the world! Offering guests the options of electronic games, poker, bingo, and table games (cards, roulette, craps). The WinStar also has a resort-style multi-pool complex, a concert venue, golf, an on-site spa, and 2 18-hole golf courses. There 5 bars to grab a drink and 20 places (yes, you read that correctly) to eat ranging from upscale to very casual.
2. Downstream Casino Resort – Quapaw, Oklahoma
Downstream Casino Resort in Quapaw, Oklahoma in the Northeastern part of the state is close to both the Missouri and Kansas state lines. The Casino is very large with opportunities for slots, table games, poker, craps, and roulette. The Resort also offers guests a resort-style pool, a spa, a golf course, and a live music venue. There are bars and restaurants to choose from to keep your energy up while staying at the Downstream Casino Resort.
3. Choctaw Casino and Resort – Durant, Oklahoma
The Choctaw Casino and Resort in Durant, OK in the Southeastern part of the state, close to the Texas border. It is the largest of the three Choctaw Casino and Resorts (other locations in Grant and Pocola). 4. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tulsa – Catoosa, Oklahoma
Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tulsa is located just outside of Tulsa in Catoosa, in the Northeastern region of the state. The casino at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tulsa offers guests a chance to try their hand at electronic games, table games (cards, roulette, craps), or the poker room. Other resort amenities include an adults-only pool, a live music venue, and it is located adjacent to the Cherokee Hills Golf Club. There are 7 on-site options ranging from fancy to casual for grabbing a drink or bite to eat.
5. Grand Casino Hotel – Shawnee, Oklahoma
The Grand Casino Hotel is located in Shawnee, OK in the South Central region of the state. The Grand Casino has a selection of slots, table games, and poker available for guests to enjoy. Other amenities include a spa, a pool, a concert venue, and a golf course (Fire Lake Golf Course) that is 12 miles away but stay-and-play packages are available. The Choctaw Casino and Resort is located in Grant, OK in the Southeastern part of the state, close to the Texas border. It is a little smaller than the Durant location and a little larger than the Pocola location. It still has the same great gaming options – electronic games, table games (cards, craps, roulette), poker room, and racebook. This Casino Resort also has a nice pool area with an outdoor bar and 4 on-site dining options.
7. The Artesian Hotel Casino, and Spa – Sulphur, Oklahoma
The Artesian Hotel, Casino, and Spa in Sulphur, OK in the South Central part of the state is the perfect combination of relaxation, rejuvenation, and fun! The casino provides opportunities for electronic games and table games (cards, roulette). It is a historic boutique hotel with a boutique casino, boutique shopping, a modern-day bathhouse, and an indoor-outdoor pool. There are 3 onsite dining options to choose from, all delicious.
8. Choctaw Casino and Resort – Pocola, Oklahoma
Choctaw Casino and Resort in Pocola, Oklahoma is in the Southeastern region of the state, close to the Arkansas border. It has the same big casino feel as the two other Choctaw Casino and Resort locations (Durant and Grant) but without the pool. You can expect slots, table games (cards, craps, roulette), poker room, and racebook gambling opportunities. Other things available at the resort include a live music venue, a bar and lounge, 2 restaurants, and a 24-hour cafe.
